4. Methodology and Evaluation
This course is structured around two complementary procedures. The first procedure is tailored to the specific structure of the eQuantum.org online platform, under the direction of Teresa Versyp. Enrolled students will receive exclusive instruction in quantum biophysics and must complete the course material available on this platform to earn a certificate in this specialty under the eQuantum.org umbrella, with guidance, assistance, and support from quantum physics specialist Teresa Versyp.
The second procedure is governed by the terms and conditions of Bircham University, which awards the Specialist Diploma in Quantum Biophysics, as long as the student has concurrently completed the coursework on eQuantum.org.
CONDITIONS SET by Bircham University for the issuance of said Diploma:
1.- The requirements for obtaining the specialist diploma are set forth by BIU: The student must write a report on two books assigned to him or her on the subject in question; the report should be 20 to 35 pages long for each book. The corresponding learning objectives are achieved by following the guidelines in the Bircham University study guide.
Students will receive tutorial support at all times to help them complete these reports, as well as assistance with any questions or concerns regarding the content, etc. To clarify concepts, there are evaluation exercises (which will be corrected by Teresa Versyp) and an extensive list of recommended reading, which the tutor can suggest based on each student's individual needs. The follow-up, therefore, is unique and tailored to each student.
Students will be entitled to at least 4 videoconference sessions of approximately 45 minutes each, scheduled with Teresa Versyp, subject to both sides' availability, for personalized assistance with questions and various inquiries. If necessary, additional sessions will be scheduled.
Tutorial support will be provided through the eQuantum.org online platform, via email, and via Zoom.
2.- The professor will grade the reports within a maximum of 3 weeks after receiving them. BIU will notify the student whether the assignment has been approved or not. If the minimum grade is not achieved, the assignment must be redone. The tutor will explain what needs to be improved.
3.- The results of the evaluation and review of the submitted reports are made available to the Academic Committee for its final review.
4.- BIU will mail the diploma to the student's mailing address once all academic requirements for the program have been met.
5. Evaluation Criteria
The professors and evaluation committees that report to the Academic Committee base their evaluation of the material (reports) submitted by the student on three criteria, each of which accounts for one-third of the final grade:
* 33% Format:
How information is presented and organized.
Evaluation of the organization of content and data, interrelationships, and hierarchies. Clarity of presentation.
* 33% Contents:
How the report aligns with the bibliography and how it reflects it. Evaluation of content comprehension, quality of synthesis, and interaction of concepts. The content evaluation accounts for only 33% of the final grade because BIU considers that it should be adequate, given that the text on which it is based is available to the student while the report is being written.
* 33% PQT- Personal Quality Thinking:
What is the mastery of the subject demonstrated through case studies, discussions, and problem-solving. The student's analytical criteria and reasoning processes are evaluated, as well as the quality of the writing and the style of presentation.
As for creating the reports, BIU has developed a comprehensive guide that will be sent to registered students and explained by Teresa Versyp during the Zoom welcome session for the course.

7. Enrollment
You can enroll at any time throughout the year; therefore, students can enroll whenever it is most convenient for them, regardless of whether or not they are able to attend the classes held via Zoom, since these are recorded for later viewing if necessary. The estimated duration of the course is 12 months from the date of admission by BIU (this period may be extended if necessary). The cost of the course to become eligible for the Bircham University Diploma is 1,250 euros.
- You must complete the admission form [BIU form link] and attach a passport-size photo. EQUANTUM will manage your enrollment at BIU (Bircham International University). It is important to read the student's rights. Note: For this specialist course, you do not need to submit a resume (which is required only for obtaining a bachelor's, master's, or doctoral degree).
- You can proceed with the purchase of the Specialist Diploma in Quantum Biophysics in the eQuantum.org online store. Payment plans (in 4 installments) may be arranged upon special request and subject to the payment terms signed by the student. Once the student has enrolled, access will be granted to the virtual classroom on eQuantum.org, along with initial instructions. In addition, a welcome session for the course will be arranged individually via videoconference with Teresa Versyp.
- The student will then receive three printed books within a maximum of four weeks, depending on the publishers and their availability. However, as a general rule, the necessary materials will be available within a couple of weeks or so, as long as the student has paid for the entire course. You will also receive a detailed course program and an approximate schedule for submitting reports. If paying in installments, after the first payment, the student will have immediate access to the virtual classroom, where the content needed to complete the first report will be available. After the third payment, the student will have access to the second part of the course as well as the required textbooks for completing the second report.
- Students will receive academic support throughout the entire process, from the time they are admitted to BIU until the end of the learning period, which will last approximately 12 months.
8. Specific Conditions
Obtaining the Specialist Diploma in Quantum Biophysics
Once all the program’s academic requirements have been met, the two reports have been completed, and they have been approved by Teresa Versyp and the academic committee, the student will receive the diploma issued by BIU at their mailing address.
